Pamela Taylor, LL.B., LL.M. (ADR)

Pamela has been a full-time mediator since 1998, mediating thousands of disputes in the areas of insurance, employment, corporate and commercial, estates and the workplace. Pamela has been a full-time mediator since 1998, mediating and resolving thousands of insurance and employment disputes. She is a charter member of the Canadian Academy of Distinguished Neutrals.

Pamela obtained a Master of Laws Degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School.

She has been an instructor at Osgoode Hall Law School's Professional Development Programs, including the Intensive Mediation Workshop, Advanced Mediation Workshop, Mediation in the Insurance Industry and Mediation in the Employment Industry. She has been an instructor in ADR for the undergraduate program at Osgoode Hall Law School ("Lawyer as Negotiator") as well as for the Bar Admission Course. She has trained numerous corporations in negotiation and mediation including Bell Canada, Quebecor, Boehringer Ingelheim, FISCO, the Federal Government, St. Michael's Hospital, CLHIA, Great West Life, the former Canada Life, Maritime Life, St. Paul's Insurance and Progressive Casualty; and has provided workplace conflict management services to major institutions across Canada.

Pamela Taylor has been a speaker at the Advocates Society, the Canadian Institute, Insight and EAPAT.

   
   
Barbara Martyn, B.A., B. Ed., M.Ed., LL.B.

Barbara is a Chartered Mediator, Canada's only official designation for practising mediators. She has been a full-time mediator for more than 15 years and has mediated more than 2500 disputes. Barbara is also a charter member of the Canadian Academy of Distinguished Neutrals.

Barbara has training in both mediation and negotiation from The Advocates Society, Osgoode Hall Law School and The Ontario Bar Association. She was trained in Advanced Negotiation at Harvard Law School and in advanced mediation at the Straus Institute of Pepperdine University. Barbara, a former school teacher and principal, has more than fifteen years litigation experience. She has appeared before all levels of courts in Ontario and has acted as counsel in hundreds of mediations in civil cases and in human rights proceedings in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia and Quebec. 

Barbara mediates Personal Injury, Disability and Life insurance, Employment and Commercial disputes. She has consulted to Osgoode Hall Law School's Professional Development Programme in the areas of Mediation and Negotiation and provided negotiation and communication training to numerous corporations. 

She has been a frequent speaker and conference chair at the Canadian Institute and the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association. 

Barbara is the past chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution section of the Ontario Bar Association and served as a member of the Board of Directors of Saint Joseph's Health Centre. 
   
   
Albert Suissa, B.A, LL.B.

Albert is a senior litigator with over twenty-five years of experience
in civil litigation, focusing on insurance litigation, including long
term disability and personal injury, in addition to employment disputes. He has also participated in hundreds of mediations, in addition to presenting papers at several insurance conferences. 

Albert has received training as a mediator, including having obtained a Certificate in Advanced Mediation in ADR from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, and a Certificate of Advanced Mediation from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law.

Albert brings a straightforward and balanced approach to resolving
disputes. He is also fluently bilingual and is able to offer mediation
services in both official languages.
